I got the smittybuilt bag on amazon for $62. Fits my 2-doors windows nicely. Not much room left for storage though...

That's a great idea to put the crossbar back in its place. I wished I thought of that.Taking my top down today on my drive home from work.

Looks better than the towels and Indian blanket we've been using.

OK...that would make more since one bag to rule them all. But man would have been better to have two different bags in my opinion. Not liking all that extra space dangling in the back there. If I have a Fridge and other gear and I have 4 people in the JEEP...the window bag is not useable...there would be no room. If I have a security enclosure...I think I would be in even worse shape. Going to have to come up with another option. Might be to put the hard top back on :-(. Time to get the pencil out and figure this out.
I have a 2dr and can confirm one bag fits all.

The hard, plastic, rounded corners/pillars for the side windows go into form fitting side of the bags. There is no side-to-side movement because of that.

Note the curled ends in that picture - those are the aforementioned corners/pillars of the side windows.

Just got my soft top storage bag. Pretty big, a little bulky, but seems like good quality and it will definitely help protect the windows.

I just got my 2-door JL with this window bag and tried it out for the first time today. I had trouble locking the folded down top in place because it was being blocked by the bag - the hard plastic sides. I had got it to lock but there was a good bit of fiddling. Anyone have similar issue? As I said I'm new to this so it may just be lack of experience. Thanks!

Yep, you have to unlock the back seat and fold it slightly forward, lock the top down, and then put the seat back to the locked position. It’s tight, but it will fit and does not damage anything.

I have read each and every post...but didn't see a part number for this piece of gold. Someone please share the part number so the rest of us can get one too. Thanks!

I ordered the 68358392AB bag a couple weeks ago and it came in this morning.
I know there have been several times I haven't put the top down because I didn't want the windows messed up or flying out, so I wanted the bag..and even though the dealer gave me around 10% off, it's still a buck & a half. (it is a nice though)

But...I just visited the Jeep site and built mine again to see if much has changed/offered since I ordered mine back in June and see you can add the bag in the order for $75. Pisser.

So...if you're thinkin of ordering a JL w/ a soft top, save a few $ and include it in the order...

How does it fit with the top down? I'm looking for a solution for my 2 door and the space there is very tight.

It fits. Tilt back seat forward, do a better job curling the sides of the bag (i.e. the pillars), put down the top and lock, put the seat back to locked position. The middle of the bag should be flat to avoid wrinkling the windows.
