Soft top stuck in down position

i have the standard soft top. i put it in the "all the way down" position and drove around for a couple of days. put it back up no problem.

this week, did the same thing. but now i cant get the top back up. it make it about a third of the way but the very back end, where the locking latch is, wont come up at all. ive played with that locking latch but no help.

anyone else run into this? hoping its an easy fix or something im doing wrong and not have to take it to the dealer.

never mind. im a maroon. i did not even know that there are locks on both sides of the top frames. apparently my wife put the lock in position which is why it would not go up. doh!

FWIW, your wife did the right thing. Never drive without engaging the locks!

Can you explain what you did exactly as im having the same issue

On the back bracket (both sides) there is a lever for locking the top in the down position. Of course its hard to see the symbol since it’s black on black. Look in your owners manual under operating the soft top.
