Soft Top question

Guys, I have question regarding the soft top.
When I have the top off and I lock the top using the 2 levers in back and pushing them down to lock position.
When I try to put the top back up, I am having a hard time to get them back to unlock position. They are stuck in lock position
Am I doing something wrong or is there a trick to it.

push down slightly on the softtop, in the center directly behind the spare tire. It will get easier with use.

I suggest to not use the levers at all. They don't help much, and is just an invitation for someone else to force your top up and destroy the arms.

Instead, cut two lengths of double sided velcro strap. Wrap them around the soft top bundle, just inside of each latch. This makes the bundle compress down and blocks less of your rear view.
