Everything is fixed, dealer ordered parts during the soft top drought, but they came in and it was fixed under warranty. It works as intended now. :like:

If I'm following correctly ..I think a similar thing happened to my JL with the premium soft top, but in my case the left side bow has completely snapped.

The bow (I think #6) on the left side was stuck and not sliding back. I did not tug it but then realized that the unlock/lock mechanism was stuck in the "lock" position and just not budging. The right side does not have this issue and unlocks/locks freely.

Then as I was trying to free unlock/lock mechanism on that left hand side the bow just snapped completely. I was able to get the soft top closed after that!!. I'm not sure how I should approach this, I feel like it should be covered under warranty because the Jeep was shipped with a defective locking mechanism. This is a brand new vehicle so I feel like I should address the issue sooner than later.

Hi there! I had the same happen to me...didn't break but it was bent. How did you get the dealer to cover it under warranty?
They are telling me it's not covered. I'm still trying.
