Just found a decent video where they go over the full features of the softop and unlatch the upper rails. I can't wait until they come out with some sort of a cover to clean up the back end with the top down.

Best JL soft top operation video I've seen to date.

JL Rubicon on order
I have been waiting for a video like this. I had dual tops on my 2015 JK but ordered just the premium soft top on my 2dr JL. I am glad I did after seeing this video. Jeep did a great top with the redesigned soft top.

Taking down the top will be extremely fast.

Putting it back up is much improved and I think once you done it a couple of times it can be pretty quick getting the windows on the slides, etc.

And if you need greater access to the rear cargo it looks like you can open the sides of the back window very quickly if you need more area than when the window is down.

I have seen this video too and I say they did very well document the small stuff. I never owned a jeep wrangler yet but looking to order the jeep jl rubicon so pretty much helped with how easy the new one is compared to what i saw on the jk model and how easy it is to completely remove the soft top from the rails.

I have a quick question from the prospective of a first time wrangler owner. I get the premium soft top JLU, but haven't got a chance to play with it. Those 2 videos give really good insights on how to operate, but my question is how do you store the back and 2 side panels? They don't appear to lay flat in the cargo space. Is it an issue for JKU's soft top as well?

My JKU the panels lay flat in the cargo area when I have them out. I think in the video they were just in a rush and threw them in there like that. I would think they should fit just as well in the JLU.
