Small upgrades on the new JL's

Rock Rails like ACE, to protect from door dings and ease of entry (for those vertically challenged family members :cwl:.)

Remove ALL dealer badging.

Stickers, stickers, stickers!

Also going to look at wrapping the red dash something OTHER than red!!

Hairdryer... For the sticker goop, I use turtle wax sticker remover from walmart.

Spare tire cover
Locking lugnuts
Replace dash top little console with deeper phone mount one
Plasti-dip silver trim around fog lights
Silicone in gutters on front doors
Floor mats (weather tech type)
Door visors
My little alien stickers on rear window hinges

No more till steering is fixed and I know it’s not going back.
All above were fast reversible mods

So as much as a 35" or 37" tires would be an awesome early upgrade it is probably a bit early to be biting off that much of an upgrade this early after purchase. So what are the small upgrades to make the most of your JL day to day? I had a couple that I have either done or working towards, they include-

1. Hardtop hoist for the garage
2. Wall mount for the doors
3. Mirrors for the door-less Jeep
4. New smaller antenna


I know this is ultra personal, but what are some other small upgrades that you feel are must do within a few months of owning your new JL?

Great minds think alike. Those are the exact top 4 on my list as well for when my JL arrives next week

YES removing ALL dealer badging-(unless they want to pay us each month to advertise for them). Dig it!

What antenna is that? Link? I may want to replace the stock one but definitely still want good radio reception.

Roninfactory has a nice antenna for the JL. Just put mine on, and reception is just as good as with stock antenna.

Did you order yours? I told dealer absolutely no dealer badging or drilling for front license plate.
