Not my pics but they show a few JL Rubicons out testing on the Rubicon trail. It's good to see Jeep doing a lot of testing on different terrains. Just can't believe they still have so much cover on them.

I wonder where they will put the GPS\Satellite antenna.

Edit: I want to "report" this as awesome!

    Ugh !! Freakin' Ridiculous !!

They CANNOT test a new JL with a Support JKU in HyperGreen... IF THEY AREN'T GOING TO OFFER HYPERGREEN AS A JL(U) COLOUR !!!

Sweet pics though, good to see it getting a proper workout.

Also, very nice to see it riding on KM2s instead of KMs , hopefully confirming earlier reports of the switch as default Rubi tyres. :jk:

Oh, just noticed in the first pic the JLU in the background is running KO2s , so likely a Sahara trim level, but with Rubi style rails.

Also looks like that back one has the Halo DRLs running, the JLU in front of it the Full-on Headlight DRLs, and then the JL just has the Fender DRLs on.

Those are some serious tires on that 2 door JL. Especially for stock.

They were stock on the Rubicon 10th Anniversary.
Technically March 2018 is the 15th Anniversary, so could be just for that.... ... but hoping it's the new stock for all Rubis, as they have better off & on-road characteristics than straight KMs.

Personally would Prefer the Goodyear MT/Rs , but these are pretty nice.

The BFG Mud Terrains are an awesome tire, but I hope KO2 are an option, as they are better in the snow (its what I'm currently running on my JKU and I LOVE THEM).

Nice to see them get dusty, hopefully that helps them get better at dealing with silica dust etc in the switches and other 'delicate' features.

I have had to replace window seitches and steering wheel button due to micro-fine dust out here.

BTW, nice pics Serge ! :like:
