I’m currently running the Teraflex 2.5” lift with the VSS 9550 shocks.
I am doing the “slow” build since I didn’t know what to get when I first got the Jeep….shop said go with this basic kit to start, so I did. Since then, the only major suspension part I’ve added are the Core4x4 lower control arms to get caster in check.
I am considering upgrading the shocks but not sure what to get. Overall I’m happy with the ride, but do feel the ride could be a bit smoother. Off-road and aired down to 15psi, it’s very compliant, but still feel washboards pretty good. I usually run 28psi on streets, and it’s still a bit rough as well….i feel like there’s room for improvement.
I plan on replacing all the control arms eventually as well…with the remaining Core4x4 arms.
Anyways, any thoughts on what direction to go (all the Black Friday sales are making me antsy)??
