I just bought a new 26 Rubicon with a Sky One Touch top and had a question about the seals on the sides. It is quiet as can be and does not leak but noticed the top does not lay centered between the seal. Seems like on drives side it’s all the way against the ridge of the seal and the passenger side it is more of a space. Like I said no issues as I just got it but seems like it sits just on the edge of that seal on the right side.
Maybe I’m being paranoid lol. Anyone for anyone who has the sky one touch top can you tell me if yours is similar?
I attached some pics to show what I’m talking about.

Yours doesn't lie as flat and tight as mine does. Also, I have no difference in space/seal alignment on either side. Yours looks like its got a few areas in the second picture that have some slack and aren't taut. Mine looks tight and like it was just starched and ironed. I'm in a '21 though. Maybe it's a slight design change with the newer models?

It was flat and didn’t leak or anything just noticed it looked shifted to one side. But turns out a frame rail was bent and it started giving problems opening while moving and was catching like it had an obstruction. So they changed the whole top and it worked great except for now in a rain storm it was gushing water in the back like it had no seal at all. All this on brand new Rubicon X I put less than 100 miles on in the first week.

So long story short the dealer seeing all the frustration unwound that deal and got me Rubicon X with a hard top. I liked the sky one but I’m perfectly content with the hard top lol. I’ll just get a sunrider. Hard top gives me options.

My last sky one touch was fine and never gave me issue but the removable window on right side rattled . I’m good with a hard top for a while. lol.

I'm so sorry this happened with your new SOT! A Sunrider is a great alternative!
So happy your dealer was good about it. Stealerships can be such a pain in the butt!
Enjoy your new top and let the sunshine in! 🌞
Thank you for your service to our country! I hope you have a safe and happy 4th! 🇺🇲✌
