I love mine, and don't find it much louder than the hard top in my previous '18 two door JL. Love being able to open and close on the fly, and the ability to remove the rear quarter windows. Best option box I checked when I ordered it!

One awesome / unexpected benefit of the SOT over a soft top is that places like u-haul that refuse to rent a trailer to a convertible have no clue that it's really one.

It's also not an open target to anyone with a knife like a soft top is.

I don't have it, just the hardtop.
My moms BF has the skyonetouch and he loves it.
It's actually pretty nice. I don't hear any noise from it when it's closed, or open.
Only reason I didn't get one is because there isn't many roofrack options for it.
And, it's not the same feel as being naked in a hard top. I know SOT Iis fully removable, but looks like a LOT of work taking it off, then putting it back on.

I had the same issue when I owned a hardtop. It was fully removable, but looked like too much work to take it off and put it back on. Now it's just a button push.

But my point was that a SOT doesn't have the same feel as being fully naked. Still nice, just not as nice.

Anyone think Jeep will ever but the SOT on the 2 door?

Thanks for the input...kinda new to the forum. Is it possible to take the back top off, but reinsert the freedom panels? We get really intense sun here in Texas and the summer sun can be too hot to bare with the tops off.
