A loaner , I dropped mine off for the $1,730 SOT for 1 broken plastic cross bar repair (ins covered - $100 deductible). Shuttle gave me a ride home. When they called for pick up I told him to send shuttle to get me. “Shuttle only takes you home now, they don’t pick you up, it’s a new policy” . Simply brilliant….. they sent someone to get me when I said I had no other way but it wasn’t shuttle. …. Also, I got a Jeep Card for the 7% cash back on dealer purchases, uhh, another new policy, they now charge 3% to use it. ….

Good lord bro…I’m sorry to hear that. The disparity between dealerships is baffling. Getting a loaner here locally (Sarasota and Manatee Counties) is a normal, expected thing at these dealerships. I don’t know if that holds true for the rest of the state, though.

The rubicon was/is the loaner. Cadillac/GM dealership doesn’t offer loaners and I needed a second car for my wife to haul the kids and I’ve been wanting to get her a wrangler so best course of action was the Jeep dealership and a 4door rubicon!

Jeep dealership also doesn’t offer loaners. They want us to use the warranty company to get a rental that only covers $35/day when most rentals are $70+ or more for one that’ll hold 7 people!

The next closest is about 25 minutes further away in the next town. My favorite service writer quit the dealership here and went there. I have his cell number and will investigate their shuttle policy. … I need a ride Both ways….. it’s where I bought it, the local’s sales dept. is greedy but the service dept. has always been pretty good.

To be fair to the dealer / manufacturer you are asking for a 7 passenger vehicle as a loaner for a 5 passenger vehicle. Not exactly apples - apples.

I didn’t ask for a loaner at jeep. I asked for a loaner for the Escalade to haul around my family while I wait for them to determine whether or not it needs a new transmission. And they said they don’t offer loaners. So I went to jeep and bought a 4dr rubicon. Now we can haul the family in the 2dr and 4dr. With space to spare in both!
