Fixing stupid....
When my trial was ending, they offered me $5 or $6 a month for a year. I asked them specifically if it would all of the channels that i had with the trial, and they assured me, yes, all the same channels.

of course, once the tiral ended, i lost the nfl channel and the nfl game play by play channels. I called them, and they said no problem, we can add those to your subscription for an ADDITIONAL $10/month.

i canceled.

i like sirius/xm, but not for the price they want for the channels i use.

i have been very happy with Pandora for over 15 years.

It was an awful experience with my old truck and I decided not to deal with them on the wife's car, we still get the random mailings but at least my inbox is free and clear. I will let that subscription that Jeep gives expire as well. Does it require an email on Uconnect to even start?

Same here. I love Pandora. I have the mid-level service, which works out to $5/month. It lets me fast-forward and replay songs, create my own station; is commercial-free and the audio quality is much better than the highly compressed music on Sirius.

I can play Pandora in my Jeep, in my Fiat, on either of my TVs, on my iPad, on my work laptop, at home, when I’m visiting my dad in Canada; all for $60/year.

I'm considering turning SiriusXM Radio back on.

Here's the latest plan that they're sending me. It smells a bit desperate, so I'm assuming that this is their final and best offer? Anyone's welcome to follow the link if it works for them. If this doesn't work for you, no need to announce. ?

My current SirusXM Offer for Vehicle and SXM App (expires 03/31/22):
$5/mo for first 12 months ($60 upfront) Music & Entertainment Plan
Free upgrade to the Platinum plan level service
Free Coupon Code for an Amazon Echo Dot (4th Generation)
Auto-renews at the Music & Entertainment Plan level ($17.99/mo thereafter)

Nope. You cannot. I looked everywhere. The only way to get rid of them is by disabling the entire Travel app.

I don’t miss it one bit. In fact, it gave me pleasure to remove Sirius crap off my vehicle.
You can disable just the weather alerts. I just did it last week.

I do like the remote start. Though its only worth it in Dec-Mar for me.

I never found the sound quality to be that great, plus when driving in many of the canyons here in Idaho, I found that the canyon walls blocked the signal. Not worth it to me. Downloading my playlist off of Apple Music is fine for me.

I refuse to even confirm my email, they are relentless the moment they make a solid contact with you. They’re not worth the time. I pretty much stick to Apple for music, nav, and weather.

When one goes to cancel, a standard business practice is to send you to the "Account Retention" department.

I've had success with sticking with "I want X at Y price; if you can't do that then we have nothing to discuss and I won't waste your or my time."

I really like Sirius. I don't like monthly payments so I pay by the year. I just paid about $70 for the year including the tax and whatever. Its worth it to me. i can easily spend $70 in a bar for a night out. On my second car, I only drive it in the summer and store it in the winter so each year I reactivate it at their promo $29 for 6 months and then cancel it after that is up as its close to putting it away for the winter. I spend a lot od windshield time and I can drive from Chicago to Little Rock, Arkansas and never change the station

I've been getting those free Amazon Echo Dot offers lately for my GC. It is a tempting offer for the free Echo Dot but the 12 month subscription would cost me more than just going on Amazon and buying one. I rarely listened to SiriusXM, even when I had the one-year free subscription, and my wife paid $400 for a lifetime subscription 12-13 years ago back when she had her PT Cruiser, so she doesn't need it because the lifetime transferred over to her JLU. That comes out to $2.78/mo and dropping as the years go by.

I also use Pandora, which has notably better audio quality at the same ($5) price point. Which is funny, since SiriusXM bought Pandora.

Maybe they saw the writing on the wall. With cell coverage improving, itā€˜s becoming a harder and harder value proposition. Their sales and marketing tactics certainly haven’t been endearing.

Ugh. I didn’t know that. I DESPISE SiriusXM! don’t want them to be getting one penny from me.

I might have to end my 6-year long history with Pandora and look at their competition.

That and satellites don't last forever and aren't cheap
