No worries, I had to think about this for months to figure out how to do this and even why. What it does is open up the back cargo area quite a bit and even gives some storage in the footwell area where the 60% seat was at. It works as a sleeping platform, too, which is what I originally wanted it for. If the back seats had folded down completely flat, like in the old station wagons, there would have been no need for it at all. Itās flat all the way to the tailgate simply to give a level and straight surface.Please know that I'm not pooping on this project, but I just don't know what it's for. You end up with a 60% rear seat delete and some storage room under the board where the right-hand rear seat used to be, which is cool. But why the flat panel all the way back to the tail gate?
