I would say yes. I just installed mine yesterday. I have a 40 pound crate and 26 pound dog sitting on it and no sag whatsoever. Very sturdy. I put a non-slip mat over mine.

@Springtail is it possible to order just the mounting brackets? I'm 6'6" and I want to remove the rear seats for added cargo space. I'm running the Misch 4x4 Big Boy seat bracket so I'm thinking about creating a platform on top of your brackets with a notch to support my seating position.

No, That is not something that we would do. Structurally, it would be difficult to do and I would have safety concerns for the back seat passenger with no barrier between them and the cargo.

Goose Gear is your only option that I know of.
