I just picked up a new JLUR XR and took the pillar lights off my old JK before I traded it in. The JL I picked up has the build in auxiliary switches and hooking up one light to one switch makes total sense. Wire the positive to the built in colored wire and the other, tie into the ground.
All my knowledge came from this video ....
But my question is, since I have two lights, how do I wire both of them to a single switch. Do I just tie both positive wires from the lights together with the powered wire from the auxiliary switch and run both grounds to the body? Or am I totally off track here? I was going to but a buddy beer to do it but he is out of town this weekend.
I am a clueless when it comes to wiring and electricity.
