WHERE DID YOU GET THE UNDERSEAT STORAGE BAG!?!?! ME WANT ONE!!
:) good eye! I got them from JeepSwag, they are made by DirtBagz and are for the JK but they fit perfectly on the JL, comes as a set of 2, one for each side, I LOVE these, makes it so easy to use that space as storage and when you need to fold the seats down you just rip the handle out and the whole bag comes out instead of having to dig all your crap out from under the seat!

24" CB antenna...7" shorter than factory, bulkier, great reception and doesnt look like a mini carrot(not a fan of the funny looking 2" antennas, sorry just saying). Adds a lot of character to the appearance - also used black heat shrink tubing at the base of the antenna to hide the large chrome adapter nut. Link is where you can find this high quality shrink tubing also have many colors avail other than black.

We should all get kickbacks from all this free marketing we give these companies. I'm joking of course but not really if you think about it...just ordered the bags myself:dance::dance::piggybank::piggybank::party::party:

Great thread!!
How did you wire the light? I’ve been scratching my head for a good option for extra back up light.

Great thread!!
How did you wire the light? I’ve been scratching my head for a good option for extra back up light.
I ran the wires through the tailgate check strap. Basically, and carefully as to not break any clips, removed the plastic backing of the tailgate with plastic dark removal tool. I then ran the wire from the auxillary light through the hole/rubber grommet located on the outside of the tailgate(located behind the spare tire and is the same hole/grommet that is used to run the wire from the 3rd brake light). If going to do the install remove spare tire. From there just run the wire once through the hole/grommet along the back/inside of tailgate(zip tie the wire in place as you move along for a clean install). Then run the wire through the check strap. From there just run the wire along the top edge just under where the hardtop/soft top meets the body tucking the wire under the carpet as you move along. Now I just hooked it up to the interior wires connected to the switch bank but if you dont have the switch bank run it through a drain plug in the body tub and direct to battery. Make sure to use wire connectors and heat shrink tubing, a nice clean collected installed will go along way and last a long time(yes, I'm OCD like crazy when it comes to my work). On a scale of 1-10 on difficulty it was about a 3. The ARB dual air compressor I wired and hooked up today is another story. Good luck!! Let me know how you make out!

Thanks. Great instructions.
I got the Aux switches but I think I’ll get power somewhere in the back and use a relay to power with backup lights.
Someone said there is a backup light signal on the tow plug. That would be the easiest, I think.

Actually bud, I would wire it to a switch on the dash as to be able to turn it on and off. The light really comes in handy for other uses and not just for backing up - like extra lighting when hooking up your camper etc.

Good point, but I also want it to come on when I shift to reverse without having to push a button
