Seems odd that in the rear window pannel, the zippers on the sides of that panel and the zipper across the top don't meet. There's like 5 inches of space between the ends of the zippers. It may not create a wind tunnel because it's backward facing but it's not going to be great for road noise.
Following up on a few requests I've received for pictures of light output at night. I can report back that I absolutely love this install. Some have suggested that if I hitch up it could be a problem. Sure, maybe. If I'm hitched up, though, I'm not sure I would be relying on the camera in the...
So......
Is it safe to summarize that, if operating properly, the fuel gauge measures:
full when approximately 21.5 gallons are in the tank, and
empty when approximately 3.5 gallons are in the tank.
Is it accurate to also say that the round fuel low indicator light comes on when there are...
I’m happy to sell these brand new rock rails. But shipping them is outside my wheel house. I think the price reflects that well. Anyone wishing to make the trek to Palo Alto gets them for a steal.
I purchased these aftermarket and brought them to Custom Alignment in Mountain View, CA. Which is a great little local shop that installed them over spacers and aligned everything.
Tires were $255 each. Total was $1,389.75 with taxes.
Install and alignment was $275. $40 per tire and spacer and...
They do sit nice and close to the grill. but if you need to pop off the grill, the lights can be tilted down and doing so creates plenty of room to remove the grill without damage. If you are the sort of person who is rough removing the grill, I would recommend placing a hand towel around each...
I'm not sure a dropped trailer hitch would have as much of an impact as your suggesting. Reason being is that little flood light shines a very wide beam spread. I'll try and block it with something a kin to a dropped hitch and shoot a picture of the difference.
It just occurred to me that you may have been asking if the steps themselves are noisy when they operate. Short answer is no. They do make a nice little "thunk" sound when they close but they are not whiny in any way. You get used to it in about a day. I should also mention I was at first...
I am using 34x10.5 BFG K02's. They are 1.5" larger than the stock set up, which result in a 3/4" rise because half that increase is below the axle and half is above it. So the step is not significantly higher than it would be on a stock tire.
The Amazon lights make absolutely no sound. Even if...
It's probably not easy to tell, but the light sits higher than (meaning there is more clearance from ground to the light than) the exhaust. Although the exhaust may be more in line with the wheels so there's that. Its also robust (made out of metal) so it probably can take a bit of a beating...
I used the following:

The camera is great. Its sort of genius that they have these small wires that...
Yes, that's the one I used. They have two options a white and an amber, make sure you choose the white one. It is a bit pricier than many others but I have to say that the quality is very high. One of the things I wanted to be confident about was the weatherproofing because I was underside...
