The Gladiator Rubicon does not come with Fox Shocks anymore. They now have the Red Shocks.
The Gladiator Mojave still uses the Fox remote reservoir shocks. Unsure of 2024.
The Mopar 2" suspension lift kit now uses Bilstein shocks in place of the Fox

The 392 still uses Fox, as of this date
The 392XR stopped using Fox and went to a Jeep Branded painted steel shock.

Has anyone ever found out the manufacturer of the Jeep painted shocks?
Any issues with them so far?

Few years back, the same question came up so I did a deep dive and came up with I think IIRC 7 companies worldwide Mfg shocks, that was it. It makes sense as you don't a company only to make one brand of shocks. All shocks are basically the same and you call the company give them your specs and await the shipment.

At that time the biggest shock maker in the US you had NEVER heard of...WHY? They are a Fortune 500 company.

Tenneco owns the following brands:

I've got a 2022 Rubicon with the Extreme Recon package. It has the red shocks. Jeep should have upgraded the shocks to the Fox Shocks on the XR package. Anyway I purchased the Jeep in April 2022 and have 14,300 miles on it. The two left shocks are both leaking, the front one pretty good. I saw it through my own vehicle inspection. Interestingly I just had it in for the 3rd and final Jeep Wave oil change. The Multi-Point Inspection Checklist doesn't flag the shocks as leaking (OK at this time), further proof in my mind that no one really does these inspections, even though the manufacturer requires the dealer to do so. What a joke. Oil changes and tire rotations will be done in my own garage going forward. I called the Service Advisor out on it after he handed my paperwork back to me and told me everything was fine with the vehicle. Then they sent a Tech out to look at the vehicle and he concurred two shocks need to be replaced. I'm going turn run it for a while yet, thinking that the two on the right may yet develop a leak and then Jeep can put four shocks on it under warranty.
