Hello. Love this forum, but first time posting here. I have a 2018 jeep wrangler rubicon JL. Recently upgraded to 35” tires and new lift kit. However, since about July, I have intermittently been haveing either electronic issues or power steering issues. My check engine will come, service shifter light comes on, electronic stability comes on, power steering goes out. Turn car off, things reset it is fine again. Rinse/repeat. It’s been into multiple shops and the dealer twice. Replaced battery… replaced bus bar…..everyone says it’s electronic, but I am at a loss. I am super frustrated, first because it comes and goes, secondly because no one can pin point problem…..if I cannot solve, ready to trade in. I am desperate to solve. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar but different issue, mine would say service 4wd and lock off cruise control and anti-collision, stability control. It would also reset if I turned it off and restarted it, so I figured it was likely a sensor somewhere, sure enough it was one in the transfer case and covered under powertrain warranty. It's the only issue of any kind I've had with it in 55k and it turned out to be something minor.

Maybe to help diagnose you could carry a portable code reader and scan it while it's throwing the trouble lights since as soon as you turn it off they're gone? Or pull into an auto zone and let them do it? Haven't used one in quite awhile so I'm not sure if they can read codes with the ignition on or not.

Kilroy, thank you for your reply. I was just discussing that with a friend of mine. I am shopping for a code reader now. Thanks.
