I had a check engine light come on...."service shifter", anyone have this issue? Jeep dealer said it was possible because I lifted my Jeep, which we all know is their way to not look at the Jeep and deflect it to someone else. I used a Mopar lift kit to lift the Jeep.

Was this just a one time thing?

A place to start is to go under your JLU and look carefully in the area of the catalytic converter. Look closely at any wire harnesses in the vicinity of the converter. Be sure no wires have come into contact with the converter and become damaged/chaffed. During the lift install the installer may have inadvertantly freed a harness and damage to the harness ensued.

IF your dealership turns it's back on you in regard to this issue, do get @JeepCares involved in the process. Regardless, lift or not the dealer has to pursue a remedy. Dealership may need encouragement to do so by FCA.

I checked around the catalytic converter, every wire and harness etc appeared snug. There was one tie strap that was kind of loose, cinched that up a bit, drove, thought it was fixed, then 20mins later got the code again. I am so angry - I have a Ram that has been acting up lately and this makes me question my decision to stay with FCA products...

Have you connected with the dealership, brow? They'd be in the best position to inspect this and give technical input. Since you're located in Canada, feel free to connect with our Canadian Customer Care Team at 1-800-465-2001 before heading into the dealer. They'll get a case started for you.

Hi yes they did a flash and apparently fixed. They refused to acknowledge that my rear doors leak, called to follow up, no call back. Awesome.
