Service electronic stability control

I had recently lifted my JL . Earlier this week I put in my adjustable front track bar. During the first ride with it all done I have a message that says service electronic stability. My steering wheel is turned while tires are straight. Does this have anything to do with anything? It’s scheduled To go for an alignment next week. So I wasn’t really worried to much, unless it’s more serious then I’m hoping?

Yes, having an off-center steering wheel will cause the stability control system to act up. You will need to adjust the drag-link to recenter your steering wheel. Getting it close to center should fix the issue as it will be hard to get it perfect.

Adjusted with drag link ( very nice when no rust yet) but the light was still on for awhile.. after a little bit of driving it finally went out.
