Twice during wet weather my SERV 4WD light has come on while I was driving. Turned the jeep off and restarted it and it shut off the warning light.

Starter doesn't send sluggish when restarting the jeep so I'm not convinced it's a battery issue but I will definately test it anyways.

Have any of you experience this and what was the source/ outcome? Was it just a sensor or is it the battery?...I appreciate any help.... thanks in advance.

Could be a few hundred different things. Without the codes from the drivetrain control module, you're chasing smoke.

Since it only happened when wet, check the connector for the FAD for water intrusion.
