SERV 4WD on 392(which only has 4WD)

Hi everyone thank you for checking. I just got my 2022 wrangler 392 for about 1000 miles. And it shows up the “SERV 4WD” light last night when I driving on road with normal speed (25MPH). Then disappear after restart the jeep. I checked the fuse box didn’t see anything loose.

Anyone else has same problem? Is this something I need to bring back to dealer? It drives ok nothing different. And since the 392 has no 2WD, I’ve never switched to 4 Lo or anything else. Just regular 4 Hi mode.

If you have a scan tool you may be able to get more information. I would not worry about it unless it happens again.

it's a jeep, of course it has all kinds of error messages. is it ok? no, but you have to live with it. Unless it happens regularly I won't worry about it.

Thank you. My previous Jeep Wrangler JL also has multiple “jeep thing” going on so I kinda familiar with it by now. Is just never see this light before. I guess I just live with it hopefully it won’t happen too often

my last jl had problems after problem and recalls after recall… this 392 is the most reliable jeep I owned so far.

Page 139 in the manual tells you to go get the vehicle serviced when this light pops up. Probably a good idea if for no other reason than to get this error code documented with your dealer.
