Which state causes the most damage? In my experience when in Utah you can see the obstacles coming and it's grippier. That helped me to avoid unintentional outcomes. I've had more damage back East.
Probably Florida since your Jeep may be swept out to sea or crushed by a house during those Category 5 storms :(

OH no that sucks! I have been debating putting the 5.7L hemi into my jeep when the 3.6 fails if it fails... fingers crossed it doesnt though. I hope you get everything sorted out soon. wheeling season is here. :D
That would be a good upgrade for sure! Yeah it does suck as it’s just the start of wheeling season. Hopefully it’ll get resolved soon.

Brad, Hurricane Ian trashed our property and caused damage to structures, but our Jeeps survived without a scratch. We built a detached “Jeep Haus” that we park under.

Even though I’m in Florida, I have a flattened tailpipe, I’ve bashed my aftermarket rock rails (rattle can took care of that), scratched the OEM skid plates, and pin stripping which has so far been buff-able. I now use a hitch mount skid plate to protect the rear of the vehicle. That’s been bashed hard too.

I was recently lamenting my first repair on my 2022 JLU Sahara (new driver in household, new right fender), and I started thinking about the Jeep owners who actually take their Jeeps off road (there have to be some who still do this, right?). I have to assume that this results in some self-inflicted damage, but is that correct? How often do the off-road crowd damage their own rides just having fun?
went out to sand hallow and did west rim and some of the maze 6 months after i bought my diesel, got high centered twice in a V wedge all 4 tires off the ground, smacked the diffs a few times, also took it to moab. see for me the run is in and out of the driver seat, its either wheelin or wrenchin, both are fun for me. my bank loves my hobbies

for my JLUR, it's pretty armored up and I built it knowing what I was going to be getting into, so it's a lot of dents and scrapes on skid plates and a little bit of pinstriping.
Ironically enough my worst self inflicted damage on this Jeep came right in my driveway: I was running wires for my ARB Twin Knock off and ended up damaging the main CANBUS harness in the passenger side firewall, and bricking the entire Jeep. I needed it fixed, and fixed fast because Dealer strung me along for almost 2 weeks, with zero updates. I called one day and got shouted at by one of their "level 4 technicians with 34 years experience", who said it was "the worst vehicle he's ever seen", then proceeded to ask me about options that came from the factory alleging I changed out the Dome lights for LED, and was using the 4 Aux switches, and that could cause electrical problems with my Jeep. Had it towed to a different shop, they had it repaired in 4 hours. 3 small wires on the main harness got damaged: 2 knicked, one severed. They reconnected and wrapped and had the my Jeep ready for me, with pictures. We had a good laugh at the dealer and I vowed never to deal with them again.

As for old Jeeps? I've had driveshafts break on trail (borrowed a replacement, thankfully), lost beads on tires, had a flat tire, body damage, Winch that quit working, the switch that connects the key tumbler to the actual ignition switch break so I had to start the Jeep with a screwdriver, locker actuator failures (04 Rubi OEM ones, pieces of junk), tie rod ends, Rod ends, etc. I'm probably forgetting some stuff. A lot happens when you play hard with the bigger Jeeps. Thankfully though that was mostly when I was young and stupid...er.
