I add a can to my 2s FI sled at the start of every year. Haven't missed a year on the same sled for the last 7 or 8. Runs perfect. No leaks.I use seafoam occasionally in my carbureted engines, but I wouldn't use it in a fuel injection engine.
He's talking about the Seafoam you put through your intake.I've never had any issues stemming from using seafoam. Also, I've never even heard of any issues caused directly from using it. Undoubtedly, there are those that are capable of creating an issue from misuse of it. But I don't think that's not what we're discussing here.
Don't trust it? Then don't use. I trust it and I've been using it twice a year in my gas tank for almost 5 years now. Had zero issues. No leaks so far.
I treat my gas tank when seasons changes to Fall and then to Spring.
Oh, I guess I didn't pick up on that from his post. Still should be OK to do that. He's talking about the Seafoam you put through your intake.
I've used it both ways and never had a problem. In fact when I used to run it in my intake on others cars and blow massive billows of white smoke for minutes I would find the car ran smoother.Oh, I guess I didn't pick up on that from his post. Still should be OK to do that.
I've done the same. Cleans the buildup out, but does smoke a lot.I've used it both ways and never had a problem. In fact when I used to run it in my intake on others cars and blow massive billows of white smoke for minutes I would find the car ran smoother.
