Scratched Hard Top

Has anyone ever used this mopar hard top paint to touch up scratches?

This is the damage and I'm thinking maybe paint would be better than a touch up pen.

Now that it's not a daily driver I care a little bit less but at the same time the white looks really bad.

I have nothing to add about paint, but I would try it on a small bit first to see how well it matches otherwise it might stand out and look worse than the scratches ... so I guess I did I have something to add about paint

I haven’t tried the spray paint version but did use the touch up pen from Mopar after I hit my top in Calico. It is definitely darker black and has a higher gloss to it. Not sure if that will translate to the spray version.

What's the deal with calling old ladies "miss" anyway? They think we're all widows or something? (And yes, I've gone from "young lady" to "miss" to "ms" to "ma'am" and back to "miss" now. So weird.)

Remember when it was appropriate to call a woman "miss" unless you knew they were married? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Anyway, I also used the pen on my 2006 tan hard top, but somehow it never really stuck well and chipped off right away. Maybe scuff sand a bit before trying the pen.

A body shop would make it look like new.
I like to take care of my stuff and wouldn't consider marks like that as a badge of honor.

I’m the guy on the other side of that story feeling unsure what the appropriate thing to say is. We were taught to say sir and ma’am growing up. Now I don’t say ma’am because I’m told it makes ladies feel old. If I say Miss I get corrected that it’s Mrs. If I know a last name and not marital status I just say Ms followed by their last name to be safe. If not I avoid it all together.

Don’t get me started on the social pressure of knowing whether it’s ok or condescending to hold a door open for or offer your seat to a lady. I do it anyway but it doesn’t always seem well received. My wife says you know nobody does that anymore. I just shrug.
