Does anyone have recommendations for guides for Sand Hollow? I have a well-built rig and thinking of hitting some 7's and 8's. I'll be out there the week of April 7 but since it's a family trip I probably won't have more than a full day (or maybe 1.5 days) of wheeling so would like to go with someone who knows the trails well.

Thanks!

See if you can get ahold of the local shops. They could point ya in the right direction. Absolutely love SH, but we do buggy trails. Can't help ya on which trails to run. Have fun, but don't go alone.

Sand Hollow guided rides would make a great little side business for a local.
Especially for first timers who are traveling in the area for a short stay.
Moab has a few.

Can't help with trails put.
I was in Moab for the first time last April for 4 day and realized that 4 days is not enough time to see and try different trails.
This April we will arrive at Sand Hollow on the 4th and head to Moab on the 11th. and leave Moab on the 19th.
Wile in Sand Hollow we will stop by to see Matt at Matt's off road recovery and also Head over to see Paul at Fab Rats. I have a $100 gift certificate I purchased tiring to win that old Willys. Mope didn't win.
Last year wile in Sand Hollow we stopped at Fab Rats and Paul and Hunter where mounting tires on Hunters jeep.
After getting back last April I realized I need to up my game in transportation and purchased used F250 and a Gooseneck trailer. Now I can haul all my wife's crap with ease.
Happy trail.

Yeah, I hired a guide out in Moab and it was well worth the $$. Want to repeat the experience out at Sand Hollow.

I did not know you could hired a guide .
Do you have a link to the company.
Thanks.
There are several out there - I used Jeeper Jeff (https://jeeperjeff.com/) and had a really good experience. We did Poison Spider/Golden Spike/Gold Bar Rim that took most of the day. Jeff knows the trails there well and is willing to take as hard a line as you're willing.

Thanks.
I will check it out.
My wife will be happy. Last time she jumped out twice and I made her cry once.
She is a city slicker. I have been doing crazy stuff all my life. I never thought I would reach the age of 40. Now I am 69 and still alive. Time flies when you are having fun.

My favorite Sand Hollow trails are Milts Mile, Razzle Dazzle, and Wayne's World in no particular order. The nice thing about all the trails out there is there are always harder obstacles on every trial. I haven't ran any trails at Sand Hollow than a 7. I have made the trek out there from Colorado the last several years for Winter 4x4 Jamboree.
