Sahara with soft top height

Does anyone know the height of a Sahara with a soft top? Alternatively, how much higher is the soft top that the hard top? I have a clearance issue with my garage. I currently have a Sahara with a hard top that fits but there is only about 3” to spare. I would like to install a factory premium soft top but I’m not sure if it will fit. Thanks.

I have my soft top on at the moment... I measured at the high point (around the area behind the rear door) and the top goes about 6" above the top of that door. Don't know how high the hard top sits, but probably only a few inches less than that.

I guess we'll see (maybe). The soft top is definitely not flat like the hard top, has decent amount of loft. Might be 3", but even if it was only 1.5-2" not sure I'd want to chance scraping it.

I measured 74.75 inches with premium soft top and AT tires

Worse case you can air down your tires before parking in garage

Or put the top down befor I go in, I guess.

I had the same problem Steve. I have about 3" of clearance to the top of the garage door. I was able to raise the motor and track to at least get that out of the way. No lift kit or larger tires in in my future!
