35 inch tire package with soft top height

Hi,

I just ordered a 2024 JLUR-X with 35 inch tire package along with the dual top group.

I have not been able to find the full jeep height to ensure it will fit in my standard 7 foot garage.

if anyone know the actual height with soft top I would greatly appreciate it!

It will. I upgraded mine to 35's and matched the "Xtreme Recon package" ride height, and mine JUST clears the door frame (7ft with "dutch corners") with the Sunrider open.

It should, I have a standard 7’ garage as well, my rubicon with soft top has a 2” lift with 35”s and it clears with plenty of room to spare.

It’s close. I have a 2022 Rubicon with the XR package and 315/70 tires. Door opening to the rubber weather strip is 82 inches. There is about 3.5 plus inches of clearance to the tallest part of the soft top. I cannot get it in or out of the garage with the sunrider section open. Simply not enough clearance. I have to open the sunrider outside of the garage and close it before I go inside the garage. I almost forgot to stop once because my wife beat me home and left the overhead door open making me think I could just drive in. Generally if I open the door myself, I’m more inclined to stop. It would be a disaster if I didn’t.

Unfortunately I learned the hard way , but no damage was done when pulling into the garage.

Yes it is a 7 foot tall Overhead Door Company door (4 sections). The rough opening is about 83 inches. The door molding with the rubber strip allows about 81 3/4 inches of clearance into the garage however the rubber strip itself is about 1 1/4 inches. If you’re at 81 plus inches tall, that’s close; too close in my opinion. However there is 3.5 inches of clearance to the rubber strip when driving the Jeep in and out.

My opening to the bottom of the rubber strip is 81 3/4 inches. The tallest part on the Jeep (center of the top left to right) is 77 1/2 inches. It’s close, but it does fit. My 2022 2 door Rubicon with 315/70 tires and 2.5 inch lift would go in and out of the garage with the sunrider open; but it has a smaller opening so doesn’t open as tall.

I scraped my hard top on a newly installed overhead door angle iron garage door puller 1500 dollar scratch. I would measure the door and the mechanism before backing in.

mines an xr soft top. i had to cut the door puller (metal piece) because it was to long.
i CANNOT pull in or back in with my top in sunrider position.
with the top closed, and the door puller trimmed it fits fine with about 4-5 inches from the highest bow, to the door puller.

one other note, if you back in, and decide to open your hood all the way back to your windshield be VERY careful mine only had about an inch clearance to clear.
