Soft top / Hard top same height?

Can anyone tell me if a JLR with the soft top is taller than the same vehicle with the hard top installed?

Soft top is taller. Not sure by how much.

The soft top is observably taller, due to the effect of the perpendicular bows. At its highest point, I'd guess it's 2-3" higher than the hardtop. The appearance is a bit more pronounced on the four door.

The difference in headroom is easy to notice, particularly if the occupants are tall.
