The axles are wider on the Rubicon, but the body and frame are the same across all models. Is the Rubicon wider than the Sport/Sahara models? I saw both models at the dealership sidexside and the Rubicon (to me) looks wider.
The sticker price for the Rubicon says Dana 44 Wide front/rear axle.
Can anyone clear this up for me?
Thanks.
A wider stance, sure, but the general width of the vehicle doesn't change because the tires don't extend beyond the fender flares. That makes the track wider, correct? So then It does have a wider stance.
Are the wheel offsets the same?I would love to see a useful measurement difference between a Rubicon and Sahara/Sport.
According to Jeep's specs on the axles, the Rubicon should have a 1.5" wider track but the vehicle spec sheets show the same values regardless of the trim level selected
Yes same just a bit wider axlesAre the wheel offsets the same?
