Rubicon Wheel Demand

I don't yet have anything to sell so I'm not posting this in marketplace but I am looking to see if there is any demand for Rubi wheels only. I have the chance to buy 5 wheels and tires for a more than fair price and as I like my wheels on my sport better than the Rubi wheels if I can sell those it would sweeten the deal even more. So my question for y'all is what kind of demand is there for Rubi wheels with sensors but no tires or I could throw in my set of 245-70-17 Goodyears in with it.

I sold mine with no sensors and the factory 33” BFG Ko2’s with only 1700 miles on them for $1,100

It was a quick easy sale.

With no tires though I think it will be a much tougher sale at a much lower price.

Maybe $500 for all 5 rims and sensors, will probably take a while to sell without tires too as getting the complete take off set with tires is what most people that buy these rims want.

They are only 7.5” wide so not very good for tires over 11.5” wide. Some have put 1250s on them, but it’s technically outside of spec

There’s a market for almost everything at the right price.

Rubicon wheels and tires are well sought after.

I have sold takeoff parts many times over the years. Even Sahara wheels and tires found a happy home with owners of TJs, XJs and Grand Cherokees.

The biggest determinants are (1) how big is the city where you live, and (2) timing luck. Selling Jeep parts was much easier in Los Angeles than in this town of 90,000 people.

Most people with plain Sports that have steel wheels want the wheel/tire combo for a quick easy upgrade that costs less than aftermarket wheels and 33” tires. The wheels alone are a tougher sell, since the buyer then has to go source a set of tires. Around here, 5 wheels alone would be about $250 for the set.

I'm looking to upgrade my sport s with 285s and I found some with wheels for a very fair deal. If I can sell the wheels for 3-500 dollars it would make it an outstanding deal. I guess I'm just weird because I don't like the red jeeps on those wheels and prefer my black and gray setup I have now.

I have a Sport S and I'm always looking out for deals on Rubi or Sahara wheels. Not super interested in tires - I'm ideally looking to xfer my LT all-seasons to the Rubi/Sahara wheels and install winter tires on my Sport S wheels. A cheaper route for me is looking for cheap sets of steelies from the base Sports that I can put snow tires on.

For me, the set of 5 Rubi wheels w/ TPMS needs to be around $100/wheel or so for it to be worth it. Otherwise I'll just pick up a set of new alloys from Quadratec. But I'm in Ohio, so I'm not really in the market for your wheels.
