I'm going two-tone with my Hydro Blue JLUR by adding HellaYella accent colors.

I came across this 5-part adhesive vinyl film wrap for the Rubicon rims.
When given a choice between a Matte and a Gloss finish, which works better?
The design looks correct, but how's the application? Do these vinyl wraps end up working out well?
Do you plan on offroading? I don't imagine stickers on your wheels will last long if so.

It's not my everyday lifestyle, but ouch, yes, I do. I missed that one too easy, thanks man.
(I was somehow trying to convince myself that the meat of the tire would see the wear.)

I’m not a big fan of colored wheels - but they look great in Hella Yella.

I mean, it would look good on the stock wheels for sure. Maybe do this after the wheels get trashed.....lol.

For 50 bucks give it a shot. Match the sheen of these to your trim IMO.

I end up returning these months ago, I was trying to go all black. Very tough to line up in my opinion, Also left a very sticky, extremely hard to remove residue on the wheel. After all, it’s a sticker. eBay merchant gave me a full refund.

That looks very well done! eBay or Amazon vendor, BTW?
I used these guys...
https://shinegraffix.com/product/jeep-wrangler-jl-rubicon-17-wheel-decal-overlays-2018/
It literally took me about an hour maybe more...just sat in the driveway and took my time. The first one is the longest (getting to know overhang and lining them up) after that they went fast. I did all five wheels and then went over them again with a soft cloth to make sure they had stretched into place..tracing with my fingers each one. just make sure its a relatively warm day and set them open in the sun to get them more pliable so that they conform better. easy peazy! just zen out and take your time ...they do look great when finished and surprising to me they have held up well and I am in New England where we get lots of snow and salt.

Awesome! I wasn't sure if I was going to go forward with this, but I went ahead and convinced myself that I could probably get away with some recreational offroading and only get some nuisance scratches and tears at the overlay. I could always just remove the things if they fail, right?

But for those same reasons, I went with a different kit that included a 6th set of decals. It also advertised that it needed a hairdryer (heat gun) to mold some of it's extended coverage past the edges. I'm not saying that I ended up selecting anything better than what I was originally looking at. It's different, and for that reason I'll be just as interested to see which of these items will end up hitting the marks.

As ordered (in yellow):

I’ve had them on since last May and love them. Bought from Amazon and it came with enough to do six wheels. First and second pictures are for a back to back comparison with and without and the third picture has no sticker on front with sticker on rear tire.
