This seems to have corrected the issue. I know its best to insulate source of interference but in this case I dont know how to insulate the throttle body.

Some internet crawling and I found threads pertaining to this same noise being from the throttle body. So If I know thats the source of the interference is there somehting I can do to limit it here? Should I just be looking a shielding the power wires?

There is little to no information about mounting the antenna to the roll bar. I'm sure its because traditionally they have been made of round tubing. I'm just wondering about the wider and flat surface of the JLU roll bar how that might work for a ground plane.

I would strongly suggest cutting the gray wire if youre not able to get it depinned fromthe connector. I dont think it would be a good idea to sent 12 volts to the BCM through that wire when you connect the power wire from your aux.

I didnt have any of that happen to me. Did you try to power on the Jeep with the connector unplugged any? Maybe disconnecting the batteries can reset it all.

I usually push in on the wire side to help relieve tension on the retainer. Other than that you gotta hold your mouth just right. Sorry i can't be more descriptive. Good Luck!

I generally use pick tools to unpin connectors. Since I was at work (work at a shop, but not as a tech) I borrowed this tool specifically to do it. But I think almost any straight pick you can find in a set would work.
