Made my own out of 1/4" thick 12" wide mud flaps from NAPA, they are about 12" from the ground on a stock Rubicon suspension, just barely cover the tire width. No modifications to the Jeep, so I could remove them and return back to stock.

I just took the rock rails off and fitted the standard sidesteps which mitigate 95% of the rocks that the tires kick up. I did keep the rock rails and would be interested in swapping them back in if some flaps or guards were available.

@mazeppa Nice work, I'm thinking of doing similar. I can't quite tell how did you fasten these to the jeep? What kind of hardware is that and did you remove rivets or factory fasteners that were in place? Thanks!

I like that, how did you mount them?
The inner liner has two tabs that I pulled out that had a heavy plastic bracket at the very bottom of the liner. I ran two bolts through it and the rubber mud flap. I also ran two screws at the top of the mud flap and through the liner. It worked out perfect.

Still really surprised nobody has come out with flaps yet for the Rubi. An OEM version of the mod above would be great. Flexible with Yosemite Sam.
