Hey, is the rear tire carrier on a Sahara different than the Rubicon? Just acquired Rubicon take offs and noticed the tire carrier 3rd brake light is touching and the tire sits much closer to the tail gate. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

I could be wrong, but if my memory serves me correctly the Rubicon have a slightly wide axle that Sahara’s, based on this, I presume that the Rubi wheels have a different backspace. This would mean that the tire is closer to the tailgate than the original Sahara. But I could of course be beerfuddled, there are lots of non Rubi owners running Rubi wheels and tires, perhaps one will chime in

Yes, there are 2 different part numbers for the tire carriers.
