Was at Rausch with a small group today and one of the JL’s must have gone thru a small pond too fast (I was eating lunch on the other side of the pond and didn’t see it happen). If you’re out there let us know what the outcome is.

We pulled the airbox open and there was about an inch of water inside, and pulling the intake off at the throttle body showed water was definitely sucked in. Hopefully damage not too bad. He said the water that came into the cabin was through the floor plugs connected to the mopar mats.

FCA engineering is at it again. Those plugs were supposed to work in the other direction

Looks like he was at the max fording depth standing still, so I bet the wake got him.
Definitely the wake, we all went through it including a stock sport without issue.

Bummer, if there was water in the bottom of the THROTTLE BODY--that means the intake strokes "SUCKED" WATER in and if that was the case--damage will not be MINIMAL--

Very unfortunate mistake and DOLLARS TO DOUGHNUTS--FCA won't cover that-

It would be great if they do/did, but on previous cases/w JEEP--the driver is the loser-
