I dont think so where is it?
It's a set of ledges in the Rainbow Falls recreation area. It's between Denver and CO Springs (and a little west).

Let me know if you want to go. I've been there several times. It's a good set of trails.

I don’t know about you guys, but for me, I think the scariest thing is rolling. I know we all have gauges to tell us what our sight angles are, but once you lift your Jeep bigger, your tires are on, so my question is, has anybody attempted to check on what angle they would roll on? I imagine you would do something simple like hook a winch line to your roll bar and then take a high lift and crank it up and see what angle you get to before. It starts to really go over.

So, has anybody done something like this and figured out what your angle is?
Any documentation, YouTube videos, anything?
If you’re volunteering I know some guys that would be happy to use your Jeep to find out. Of course you’d have to sign a waiver for when things went awry and you said, “I thought you said you weren’t worried!?!” And they said, “I wasn’t, it’s not my Jeep. “

Somewhere on 7 Mile Rim in Moab, this was about 22 degrees, and for me, that was plenty

that south wall around merrimac butte is a pucker factor for sure...I know looking back at it from wipe out hill a person is like how the heck did I think that was a good idea.

No doubt. I think half the trails at Moab were a "Hold my beer" moment :)

you will never know where your limit is until you reach it. like has been stated there are too many variables to pin point an actual number.

I did 30 side angle but a very low angle front to rear and the terrain was consistent.I think there are too many variables to give an answer with any certainty. Plus I don’t think I would be looking at the dash in a circumstance that was sketchy. You could be balanced and slide back and bump a rock, or gain or lose traction or momentum and all those numbers you’re looking for go out the window.

I have an early warning device installed in the passenger seat. The creativity, volume, and rate of my wife’s profanity increases exponentially

the Intimidator on flat iron mesa is another that is not all that steep but freaky as hell because you are going around a rock on your driver's side and you have to be careful not to ride up the side of it and on the passenger side you are tipped towards the edge and looking out the pass window all you see is straight down...more a head trip than actually steep.

That is freaky, and what I dislike most about shelf trails. Reminds me of Chicken Corner. I did it once (back and forth) and that was enough. I felt like puking having to going back thru. From now on I'll walk it if I ever feel the need to go to the famous point again. Not my idea of fun 4-wheeling.

Good grief, I don't even think of the dash and checking my roll and pitch. I'm too into self-preservation at that point.

Highway 550 between Montrose, CO and Durango, CO is enough for me, but I had to drive it when I lived in Montrose; too many good trails in that area. But I was a conscientious Texan while driving along at 20 to 25 mph south of Ouray. I routinely pulled over when I could to let the locals behind me pass and get back to their cruising at 45 to 50 mph, mostly oblivious to the 1500-ft drop off to the east, I guess.

The point I lifted my left front tire coming up Hells Gate I saw 37 on the dash before i kicked it into neutral and rolled back a bit. I dont remember if @gek was paying attention to it or not at that point?
