Tell me about it, we have equipment down and Some higher-ups are looking to throw another Band-Aid instead of replacing.
their name starts with the letter A so you know who I’m talking about
Thankfully they haven’t called us. Lol just rolled into the driveway ten mins ago from San Diego for a 14.5 hr day

Dont forget your GMRS radios for trail comms. If you don’t have one, $25 gets you one of these on Amazon. I been using this one for couple years. Works great, lots of choices out there that work for jeepin.

@SadRobot or @GMONEY you got any tips? When/where to camp?
We both camped at Red Rock Campground. You need to get reservations though. There is also dispersed camping along the trailhead on Lovell Canyon Road.

I drove up the night before and stayed at the campground and then drove home the next day after the run. Greg drove up day of, stayed at the campground night after. So either way would work. I remember it being a 45 minute drive from the campground to the Rocky Gap Trailhead.

That’s what I’m planning to do. Drive there the night before since it’s a 4.5hr drive for me.

I didn’t think about that. But heading out at 3:30am to make sure I get there on time sounds awful also.

Hey folks - looks like there's a good chance I'll be able to make it. Haven't worked out details but I'll likely drive up the night before and either motel it or find a campsite. Bouncing off the walls right now - gotta get out and wheel.
glad you're gonna make it.

Haven’t looked this up, it’s supposed to be short, right? any other close trails to run after?
It would be fun to camp with some folks if we can arrange it.
