Heading up to Big Bear June 12th

Planning on heading up to Big Bear for a test run of our new 21 JLUR (new Jeep not new to Jeeping). Just simple trails along 3N16 and then out of the mountain via Pioneer Town. Anyone interested in giving their stock JL/U/R a test run let me know as soon as possible via PM.

Otherwise if you are up in Big Bear and see a red/black “paper plated” JLUR along 3N16 or near the area of Tip Top Mountain give us a wave.

Fun day up in Big Bear giving our stock 2021 JLUR a little off road “shake down”. Ran a bunch of moderate trails 2N08, 3N10(easy part) and 3N07 “squeeze” to name a few. Also met up with two other JL owners (not from this forum) doing the same thing so we all teamed up.

Take away form today....Need to immediately upgrade to 35” tires. I haven’t scrapped my Jeep bottom so much in 30 years of running these same trails. Had I been on 35” tires like my last two Jeeps, I would not have scraped anywhere. I knew it might happen but that’s way there are factory skid plates underneath.
