here’s my dilemma in the picture below you’ll see the stock Mopar side steps, which function is rock sliders, sort of.
You’re also see a weird bracket on the side that is welded to them. That’s where I mount my ARB Jack..
Now just having knee surgery had the whole knee replaced I need a little bit lower step so I Goldberged that step onto a couple empty bolt holes stuffed it with JB weld and called a good.
Obviously, it looks like crap
But it serves his purpose and I can get my replaced knee up to it and get into my jeep
My question is, does anybody know of another system that maybe I could drill in from the top or fit it with a bolt on the side that would drop that step down and would be removable for when I do harder trails?
I suppose alternative business to get some new rock sliders with a little bit of a step.
But I don’t really want POWER step. I don’t think we need any extra electrical things that could fail on the JEEP.
and I really don’t feel like spending another thousand dollars on sliders.
