Rock hard sport cage

I'm looking for a cage for my 24 jlr and have had a hard time. Came across the rock hard sport cage. I'm thinking it is better than nothing. Does anyone have any experience with a sport cage. Last year while at Hot Springs offroad park we came across a guy that rolled his jlu. Seemed to fare pretty well. I'm not trying to spend 10k on a custom cage.

I have an Adventure Rack Systems rack and i love it. Not sure if that’s what you’re talking about though. It wasn’t 10k and I got the basket and wider bars to mount my kayaks to.

Sweet set up. I'm looking for a structural cage for rock crawling. I was wanting something like the genright roll cage. However, they only have the 4 door jl. The link below is about the only cage support for the 2 dr.

Now with the side airbags on the 24 it looks like the rock hard is out of the picture as well.

Rock Hard 4x4 Bolt-in Ultimate Sports Cage Brace Kit

For legal reasons, “Sports Cage” is the term Jeep used for the roll cage.

These were really popular on the JK, but I haven’t been able to find anyone really using them in the JL’s. Litebrite installed this kit a while back, but they removed the windshield frame brace shortly after. If you’ve watched any of their recent videos, they still have the overhead t-section brace.

With the higher strength steel in the JL cages, I think most people who need more protection just go full custom.

I’m curious to know if anyone’s put one to the test.

Nothing yet. If a cage comes out for the 2door jl, it will probably be for the 18-23 model years first. There are several changes to the interior of the 24 that would need reenginered to fit. The demand for those are pretty small so understandably the companies are in no hurry to build one for mass sales.
