Just got the word mine is on the way. Est delivery date moved up to 5/8. Sat in D1 status for just under two months. Then the updates starting coming every two days.
It's got to be a programing issue. When I was pulling my hair out trying to track it down, my codes would be for wheel speed and transfer case output not matching. I gave up and just let it ride.
The JL 4wd system is a technology nightmare. It uses inputs from your wheel speed sensors, FAD, transfer case, DTCM, transmission, and on rubicons the electronic locker harness. The traction control system is showing multiple faults and is putting your computer in limp mode when you switch into...
So at what point do we consider taking legal action against Stellantis? I am not ok with being mislead during this purchase. I'm sure there are some members with legal experience that could point us in the right direction.
A temporary issue gathering all parts needed. The axles and 2.0l engine seem to be the hold up. I'm sure they got a huge order of 2 doors with the 35" tire package when the order banks opened. The same thing happened when they originally opened up the extreme recon package a couple years ago.
I don't think mine will be on the xr springs long. Although I may hack the factory bump stops off to get more up travel. Where we are going we will not need no stinking fenders.
Suspension seems to be a never ending saga. Anymore I just focus on a suspension that works for the intended use and suck up the consequence. It's funny that people think an off the shelf system should do it all.
My plan is 37's with a 2.5" lift on coilovers or ORI's to keep a LCG and stretched 7-10". The XR package will give me something to work with until I can build out axles. Cannot wait to get started.
