Hey guys hopefully someone has some input because I cant figure it out. I installed my RK 2.5 xfactor a little while ago and took it to alignment shop after. Everything was good and in specs. However I notice my passenger side front spring is rubbing on the jounce tube in the center when it gets flexed or compressed. The drivers side is fine. My measurements for the LCAs UCAs and track bar are...
Drivers LCA- 24 3/16
Drivers UCA- 20 7/16
Pass LCA- 24 3/16
Pass UCA- 20 3/8
Trackbar- 34 3/8

Ive included pics on how close the gap is and where the rub spots are at.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why it is so close and hitting on that side when the drivers side is more centered. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your passenger side control arms are adjusted shorter than the driver side which could account for this possibly. Additionally your track bar is not adjusted to Rock Krawler's specs so the axle could be shifted causing it as well. One turn of the track bar can seriously throw things out of wack.

Are the springs bowed at all? If so, that could be the issue as well.

thanks for the help. I might try adjusting the track bar back a little, the springs are pretty straight for the most part maybe a slight bend forward. Everytime i measure the axle to frame difference on each side it is equal though. Guess ill have to play with it a bit. Thanks!

I havent even gotten around to it yet lol, I need too because it bothers me but my 4 month old has other plans on his agenda than allowing me time to mess with it haha. Ill update after I do.

The biggest concern in your posted specs is the track bar being 3/16" longer than suggested starting length. That would push your axle towards the passenger side and could certainly cause the issue you are experiencing.

Check your caster as well. Typically if the springs are bowing slightly forward it may indicate a light caster condition.

Looks like a quick adjustment will have you squared right away.

Alright took the front track bar off and re measured. Im at the reccomended specs now. Even pushed the body and turned the wheels to Let the body sit where it wanted and it bolted right back up no issues. So that didnt fix it. Ill have to check my caster again I guess. If i cant figure that out myself I suppose ill take it to the computer alignment place again, and see what they say. When i measured the angle myself i was sitting at right around 5.5. Only other thing i can think of is my lowers need to be shortened a bit. Anyways theres the update, Ill figure it out soon haha!

If need be, give our techs a call. Have you had a professional alignment done so we know where the caster is 100% with a full caster sweep? If so, post the post alignment specs so we can take a look at them with you or again, just give us a call.

Out of curiosity do these flex and compression pictures look normal? I adjusted the track bar shorter a bit and the upper arms. My digital angle finder shows 5.7 on the upper ball joints and 88 degrees on the face of the pumpkin. Ill post full alignment specs next tuesday when I get the time to take it. I was just curious in the meantime if these looked average. Thanks

yes sir. do you see how the spring pads angle toward the frame in compression? That is what Mopar was trying to avoid with their "bow the springs outward", too bad it does not work because under larger articulation like you have than factory the spring pad angle dominates so the only thing that happens is the coil will bow even more into the side wall of the tire and start to take a severe S shape. Not good. What you are showing is 100% normal and the coil bows away from the side wall of the tire under compression which is a good thing.... You don't have to worry about the side wall of the tire getting into the coil spring.
