Has anyone ever Rhino lined their JL side steps? Thinking about doing this have a friend that has a body shop and would do it for cheap or free . I have given him stuff to use at his shop ..wondering how it looks..

I don't like the stuff. Looks great for a while. After a few years of sun, it turns flat colored and this black stuff comes off on everything that touches it. I looked like a coal miner after crawling in a friends pickup bed to get some luggage out. I could see a side step rubbing on my clothes and putting black streaks on them. No thanks.

I Line X my after market metal side steps. And glad i did. Better grip and looks good. After a while all those steps rust. So I can live with faded liner in a few years over rust spots.

Hey reggie,

I bought a steel front bumper and I did a custom bull bar delete. I took the whole bumper down to bare metal. I finished it with Herculiner. It turned out fantastic! Its been almost 2 years and its holding up great.

Best of luck buddy.
