Someone told me to get the Lube locker brand gasket for my 2019 JLUR. I looked it up and it only shows up to 2018 JK models. Are the diff housings the same for the JL?
Any other good diff gaskets for a JLUR?
Thanks

The OEM gasket is reusable.
Just had it regeared. They used rtv. After 500 mile break in I want to use reusable one. Might have to get OEM. They told me Lubelocker was good. Looks like they only make up to 2018 JK though.

LubeLocker is not available for the JL axles. The JK axles are different and those gaskets don't fit the JL. Right now the OEM gaskets are your best bet.

That's what I figured. Thanks

RTV is your friend.
Not on a diff cover. It always leaks eventually.

LubeLocker gaskets are so much better. On the JL I'll stick with OEM until LubeLocker makes one.

I've never had one leak after letting things cure properly.
It's never a question of if RTV will leak. It's a question of when. You've been lucky.

Are the factory gaskets re-usable as mentioned earlier in this thread, debating taking the covers off to clean out the diffs at next change. Also is there a magnet inside the diff, or is it on the drain plug, I have changed the fluid but dont recall if the drain plug was magnetic or not.

If needed I will buy new gaskets.

Factory gasket is reusable. Magnet on drain plug only.

I switched to LubeLockers on my JK when I changed covers. Best things ever and no mess. I will on the JL whenever I switch covers out.

Guy I got the covers from used RTV. Cleaning that stuff up is an absolute mess.

The gaskets are reusable.

The drain plug is magnetic. That is, if you have one.

I don't believe lubelocker has gaskets for the JL yet. In part because factory gaskets are reusable. No RTV used from the factory.
