Replacing driver seat cushion.

I’ll be replacing my driver seat cushion tomorrow. I have a manual control seat and I’m curious how to remove the knob and lever. It may be pretty obvious once I take the seat out. Thanks in advance for any help.

also does anyone make a more comfy seat cushion that doesn’t separate and break as easy as factory foam.

you can pop up the cap.

As for the lever you need to remove the screw, two per side if I recall properly and there is some clip

curious, what cushion did you put in ?
when I replaced my cover the seat heater was mostly integrated in the cushion

Just the factory one. It came with the heat element

Plz share details! I am about to lose 10k to get rid of mine... All of my past Jeeps have been great, the seat in the new one is pure HELL TRASH!!! I feel lumps and wires in the lower lumbar area, it is a disaster. Anybody who drives it for a while says the same, total garbage. This is my 6th Jeep since 2015 :-(

Driver side of the original foam had tore but the seat leather was fine

Unfortunately just a factory replacement. Entrance side of the cushion broke away internally just replaced the cushion,if you can call it cushion. if it breaks again I’ll see if I can get a custom foam made.
