Discovered a little hole (the pic is probably a bit too close to be useful) on the driver's side, near the front.

It's a non-premium top from the factory. My first instinct was an iron-on denim patch, but I'm not sure about longevity. Second thought was "duct tape!" but then I thought maybe I should look for a classier solution.

I had a non-Wrangler convertible and used an iron-on denim patch for a decent sized L shaped rip. Surprisingly, it held up well and I only had to replace the patch about every 2 years. I used some glue around the edges of the patch to keep it from fraying. I did this for about 6 years before I eventually replaced the top.
