So with all this in mind would anyone still take it to the dealer and let them f K around with it or just brake accordingly ie carefullly when slowing down to stop.
I have a ‘25 Rubicon X with 3.6l and have occasionally noticed a very mild lurch/surge/push when slowing down, typically when rounding a corner. I’ve attributed it to a downshift..

I just want to take a minute and thank everyone here who took the time to respond to my question and give me some much needed advice and in some cases a different view on a very simple matter.

I took my Wrangler JL in today and after a hopefully thorough inspection, no problems were found with the gas, transmission or brakes, or anything else for that matter except the possibility of my big feet, ha. So now I kind of feel better in that I can just concentrate more when I brake in those situations on my feet and the pedals. For those wondering, I ended up taking out the dead pedal before going to the deal this morning for my appointment. It was only a 1 minute job and I figured for that minute of my time it wasn't worth it. So there's my ending on this subject.

Again thank you all who took time from your own schedule to post here for me, I sincerely appreciated it.

Bill
