PO drove my 2 door thru a desert - topless. Think Jeremy Clarkson thru the Makgadikgadi Desert. Leaf blower isn't removing the dirt well enough.

I have the rear seat out.

If I can get the carpets out they'll see a nice misty soapy pressure spray and rinse.

Can I remove the carpets with reasonable effort? Do I need to remove the front seats to pull the carpets?

Thanks.

Yes, easy to get them out. You don't need to remove the front seats. I completely removed the carpets to install sound deadening material in my 2-door without removing the front seats. Your owner's manual has a section that tells you exactly how to remove the carpets. Follow that.

Carpet is real easy to remove. Comes out in sections. No need to remove any seats or hardware. Honestly between beach during the summer and off-road throughout year I removed carpets and never put them back in. Just keep the rubber floor mats and rinse out the tub as needed.

Do you notice more road noise? Mind sharing pics?

Why not go with Armorlite if you are going through the trouble?
I second this, you would be surprised how easy it makes it to clean dirt and dog hair out of the Jeep.

Yes it was a PITA to install on my 4DR. But after you do its so easy to just pop the plugs spray in some cleaner scrub and wash out. The extra benefit is there is some additional sound / temp deadening.

I’ve always wondered why armorlite isn’t the standard option on jeeps….

Yea, I’ll be ordering my JLUR-XR with it from the factory. Just makes so much more sense. Especially if you have dogs.
